300 mm Geological Sieves, stainless steel sedimentary analysis sieves made to laboratory specifications. These sieves are 300 mm in diameter allowing for a fairly moderate amount of material such as sediment, soil grit, and gravel to be sieved and processed. Each sieve has optional woven wire meshes ranging from as little as 20 microns to 125 mm in size, filtering out particles based on their indexes. With no sharp or pointed edges and laser engraved badges and an ISO certificate, Glenammer sieves are an excellent, well-produced product that no analysis project should be with out.
Specifications:
300 mm Geological Sieves featuring a stainless steel full-height body with a woven wire mesh. Among the most common diameter of sieves in use for analytical purposes. Each sieve measures 300 mm in diameter and 75 mm in height making them ideal for most applications. Able to hold a fairly moderate amount of material per sieve. Sieves are used in a variety of sectors for particle sorting and grading applications. Such as petroleum, pharmaceutical, sand, soil, paint, chemical raw feed, food, and coal. In addition to agricultural products, seeds, plants, transfer material, metal powders, fertilizers, glass, building materials, resins, and more.
Using high-quality, 316-grade stainless steel which is overall, which possesses better overall corrosion-resistant properties. They will never rust and have excellent strength. The manufacturing process results in an easy-to-use, easy-to-clean ISO and ASTM-calibrated piece of apparatus. The bodies are completely sealed, therefore, there will be no loss of, or residual material left over. Additionally, the sieves do not have any sharp edges, points, or corners, making them safe overall.
300 mm Geological Sieves feature a range of optional aperture sizes which range from 20μm – 125mm to suit your requirements. They are robust and accurate, being equally useful for both laboratory and field applications. The sieves can stack upon each other forming a tight seal between each one. While there is no limit to stacking. Sieve shakers will mostly take up to 8 sieves, (excluding a receiver) only. Each sieve comes in a protective card box which also includes the calibration certificate. Particularly useful in the mining sectors, academic applications for earth science study and research as well as sediment and ecological projects. Sieve receivers and lids are also optional extras. Additionally, you may opt to split sediment samples into equal parts as per their maximum particle size, in which case, our range of Riffle Splitters will be ideal to handle this task.
