Clino Rule – 1m

The clino rule (or clinometer ruler) is a meter-long measuring instrument. Incorporating a spirit level, protractor, and ruler. Made from tough plastic, it is ideal for field mapping projects or exploration drilling phases of a survey as well as general construction site use. It features markings for the ruler in cm increments, and black print against a white background for easy reading. The protractor is located in the middle of the instrument, displaying degree readings from 0 – 180°, in 5° increments. A small spirit level is present along a section of the ruler.

In all, users can obtain a variety of readings from the clino rule, from measurements of length to angle as well as level and plumb. The ruler measures 1 meter (100 cm) in length, however, for ease of use and transport on site. It folds in four sections, reducing its length to 25 cm. Lending it to use in a number of key areas, from mineral exploration, geological mapping, forestry, construction and bricklaying, geo-engineering, hydroengineering, and more. Once measurements and readings have been taken, it is ideal to note the information down in your Field Notebook for later analysis.
