Edelman Coarse Sand Auger Head

Edelman coarse sand auger head is ideal for sampling coarse-grained sand material. The head design features narrower blades with a narrow opening between them compared to the standard sand head. It utilises a blunt rounded tip in comparison. Allowing users to penetrate coarse sand more easily. Therefore, it is suitable for use in sand-based soils and sandy sediments. The closer blades with a narrower opening catch more of the coarse sand which clumps together more easily, preventing it from falling back into the core hole. Furthermore, it makes pulling up and removal of the material easier as well, which in turn produces a deeper hole for analysis.

The Edelman coarse sand auger head production uses non-toxic steel with high tensile strength. This ensures that your soil samples will not incur contamination from the auger head. The tensile strength stands up to heavy workloads, additionally, it allows users to produce more torque through the auger when sampling.

The tool provides a proven design that results in optimal drilling and coring. This auger head attaches to the optional extension rods using a bayonet coupling. This results in quick, easy assembly and disassembly onsite. Meaning you have more time to perform sampling, rather than unpacking and packing back up. To care for the auger head and ensure a long life. Wipe down the head, rod, and handle before allowing to air dry.
