The Estwing E3-16BLC geological hammer features a head with a straight chisel edge, which is ideal for chiselling, splitting, or prying rocks and aggregates. In addition, it is excellent for use in the building trade as a brick hammer. Furthermore, on the opposite side, one will find the usual, flat striking face. This is suitable where force is advantageous, breaking down or crushing rock. In addition, the hammer has a lightweight head and is 27.3 cm long. Therefore it is easy to control and offers more accuracy per strike than heavier models. The shaft and head are brushed steel, which is lacquered to improve the shelf life and appearance.

The handle features blue shock reduction vinyl which provides user comfort with each strike. Furthermore, the handle has a pitted texture and ergonomic shape and design. This improves comfort and grip for the user. An excellent all round hammer, with features one will find useful in a range of sectors, from geological site use.
