It comes with an water spray feature (which requires the additional water pressure pump), an easy to use ergonomic design and weighs in at only 11 kg.

Husqvarnas K970 petrol disc power cutter is suitable for onsite use for a myriad of material cutting, utilising the correct diamond blade disc, it can easily cut through tough natural stone such as granites, marbles and basalts. It uses the new 94cc, X-torq engine, which gives the machine a higher output, an impressive 4.5kW of power, whilst reducing emissions by up to 75 percent, fuel consumption by up to 20 percent and features a new air filteration system, one of the most efficient air filtration systems on the market. Further, the new K970 uses a dust-sealed starter unit for a greater reliability when starting up which also ensures a operating life.
The overall design is ergonomic, making the machine, fairly easy to use and control, weighing in at around 11 kg. Though caution must always be taken and all necessary safety regulations adhered to. Being petrol powered, the machine is relatively easy to transport and use as petrol/gasoline are always present on mineral exploration, core drilling and mining project sites along with 2-stroke oil. The K970 an use 350 mm diameter diamond blades with a 20 mm bore. This gives the user a 125mm maximum cutting depth.
