Mineral gouge auger, suitable for exploration projects of land surveys. Particularly where surface sampling of soil and sediment from between 30 to 60 cm of depth. The auger is constructed from strengthened, non-toxic steel which prevents contamination of soil and sediment samples taken. The head is 13 mm in diameter, with a narrow body which reduces friction for user reliability. Suitable for medium hard to hard soil and sediments.

Constructed as a single piece, it comprises a T-shaped handle as well as a half-cylindrical auger body, with parallel cutting edges running from top to bottom. The head has a diameter of 13 mm with two operational lengths depending on the option you chose. (30 cm depth or 60 cm depth). The auger has a diameter of 13 mm and a total length of 110 cm. The narrow head and body reduce friction, making sampling easier for the user.
The Mineral gouge auger is ideal for medium-hard, to hard soils and sediments.
