Riverside auger head is a premium quality, soil sampling tool for hard, stiff soils. Mixed with fine gravel both above and below the groundwater level. The head design boasts sharp extremities of the auger bits point at a downward angle. This unique design allows users to pierce the ground by the riverside easily. Therefore, it will capture sampling material as well as drive deeper when the user twists the handle. Furthermore, it makes pulling up and removal of the material easier as well, which in turn produces a deeper hole for analysis. The material though must be manually removed from the head often after each extraction. It is advised that you wear gloves for this to prevent injury.

The Riverside auger head production uses non-toxic steel with high tensile strength. This ensures that your soil samples will not incur contamination from the auger head. The tensile strength stands up to heavy workloads, additionally, it allows users to produce more torque through the auger when sampling. This is often a requirement when drilling core holes into tough, stony soil with gravel particles within. However, users need to allow the equipment to air dry and clean thoughtfully afterward to ensure a long life.

The tool provides a proven design that results in optimal drilling and coring. Particularly through sediment which is wet and consists of mixed gravel, sand, and small stone chips. Often found by riversides. This auger head attaches to the optional extension rods using a bayonet coupling. This results in quick, easy assembly and disassembly onsite. Meaning you have more time to perform sampling, rather than unpacking and packing back up. The head is available in various diameters to suit your particular project requirements.

Note, this product is only for the auger head itself. You will also require at least one extension rod and a T-bar handle to operate correctly. To view these items, please click, HERE.
